متن کاملA CONVENIENT SYNTHESIS OF MACROCYCLIC DIAMIDES
Some new macrocyclic dibenzotrioxadiamides, dibenzotetraoxadiamide, dibenzopentaoxadiamide, dibenzothiatrioxadiamide, tribenzotrioxadiamides and tetrabenzohexaoxadiamide (14-21), (26) and (27) have been prepared. These compounds were obtained in the macrocyclization step by reacting the diamine (4) with appropriak dicaxboxylic acid dichlorides (5-13) and (24). The cyclization does not requ...
متن کاملA Hamiltonian for Quantum Copying
We derive an explicit Hamiltonian for copying the basis up and down states of a quantum two-state system—a qubit—onto n " copy " qubits (n ≥ 1) initially all prepared in the down state. In terms of spin components , for spin-1 2 particle spin states, the resulting Hamiltonian involves n-and (n + 1)-spin interactions. The case n = 1 also corresponds to a quantum-computing controlled-NOT gate.

Can imitation be considered one of the most successful strategies in business? My answer is " yes ". It appears that this topic is getting more and more attention nowadays. It is well known that Apple's success can be attributed to taking existing ideas and repackaging them with excellent design. However, no one can readily blame Steven Jobs for lacking originality. Even if the ideas for his co...
